Chicago: John Mayer in Concert, Oktoberfest Celebrations, "From the Blacksmiths Hands: African Metal", Live Jazz and Live Blues Tonight.

"From the Blacksmiths Hands: African Metal" An exhibition of traditional African Metal Work is at the Douglas Dawson Gallery. 224 S. Michigan Ave., Suite 266.  The Gallery is open from 2pm to 6pm.

Oktoberfest Celebrations!!


There's an Oktoberfest show with a 4 star brass band at Mirabell Restaurant in Irving Park.  3454 W. Addison St.  It starts at 7pm and admission is free.

Its Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus Chicago.  5500 Park Pl.  There is no cover.  Go enjoy the food and beer of the German Culture.

Also, Berwyns Oktoberfest should be very cool.  Its at the intersection of Windsor Ave and Grove Ave.  Its free.  There will be a food court, live music, carnival and amusement rides, kids activities and various vendors.

Also, there's an Oktoberfest Tent Party at Glenview House.  1843 Glenview Rd.  Its free and there's gonna be live German music, food and drinks, A kids bounce house, and kids face painting.

For those not partaking in acoholic beverages who would also like to participate in Oktoberfest..  The Holy Trinity Church is hosting their annual Oktoberfest.  Its at 111 S. Cass Ave., Westmont.  There will be live music, food and entertainment and its free.
